Second Family Home Care provides non-medical companion / homemaker services to seniors, those recovering from surgery and others. Options include 24 hour live-in care or hourly care.

Our owner and founder, Becca Metoyer, is a Certified Senior Advisor® and is dedicated to placing qualified, appropriate caregivers in the homes of people who need help. Having been a caregiver herself to her aging mother for several years, she is uniquely qualified to understand the expectations of her clients. She is available 24/7 to help you and your family with your care needs.
Serena Rockwell, Director of Marketing
Our marketing director, Serena Rockwell, is a Certified Assisted Living Manager and has worked with seniors for over ten years. Serena developed a passion for marketing in this industry about six years ago while working with residential care homes. She attended Texas Women’s University in Denton and is a wife and mother of two. Serena soon discovered she was able to combine her passion for working with seniors with her lively “gift of gab” which makes her the perfect candidate for marketing and a great asset to our team.
Terri Wozniak, Supervisor
Our supervisor, Terri Wozniak, works as recruiter, field supervisor, and scheduler as well as a caregiver when time permits or the need arises. Terri earned her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification and cared for her aging parents for many, many years. Her experience as a hands-on caregiver gives her the unique and very specific perspective in training and recruiting our employees.
Cimmie Chavarria, BSRN
Our Registered Nurse, Cimmie Chavarria, is a graduate of Texas Tech University with BA in Psychology and Microbiology. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a BS in Nursing. Cimmie has practiced nursing for over 37 years in multiple settings which has helped her develop sound nursing judgment and skills. Cimmie is available to assist our clients fill pillboxes, provide training for our caregivers, and private duty nursing services to our clients when insurance or Medicare will not cover those services, plus much more. Her experience and astute perception makes her a perfect fit for our company.
Skylar de Brun, Director of Operations
Our Director of Operations, Skylar de Brun, is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a BA in English and History. He went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s in Human Relations and a Master’s degree in Ancient and Classical History. Prior to joining our team, he was a captain in the Air Force for seven years. He served his country honorably across the world which developed his logistics and operations management expertise. Skylar also spent much time taking care of his grandmother during her last years so he is very familiar in dealing with issues and challenges facing those with aging loved ones. His experience and dedication to helping others will be a valuable resource to the company.
